Terms of sale and website use

Terms for using the Open Bulk Editor website, buying a Standard license, receiving updates, and following product restrictions.

Last updated: July 13, 2026

Agreement

These terms are between you and Open Bulk Editor. By using the website or purchasing the software, you agree to these terms, the EULA, Privacy Policy, and the terms shown at checkout.

Eligibility and authority

You must be able to enter a binding contract. If you act for a business, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that business.

Product information

Standard is the current desktop edition. Pro is in development and is not available for purchase. Roadmap descriptions are plans, not promises of a release date or final scope.

Orders and payment

Prices, currency, tax, payment methods, and the merchant of record are shown at checkout. We may reject or cancel an order affected by fraud, pricing error, unavailable delivery, legal restriction, or payment failure. The payment provider processes payment information under its own terms and privacy policy.

License delivery

A purchase grants the software license described in the EULA. It does not transfer ownership of the software or source code. Current activation rules allow one active device and one self-service device transfer, subject to license status and support procedures.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the site, interfere with service operation, bypass license controls, use stolen credentials, distribute malware, or use the product in violation of law, Shopify terms, or another person's rights.

Third-party services

Shopify, payment providers, hosting providers, and linked services are independent third parties. Their availability, plans, permissions, APIs, and terms are outside our control. Open Bulk Editor is not affiliated with or endorsed by Shopify Inc.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled under the Refund Policy and any mandatory consumer rights that apply to the purchase.

Disclaimers

The website and software are provided on an "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. You are responsible for reviewing previews, maintaining appropriate Shopify exports or backups, securing credentials, and deciding whether a task is suitable for a production store.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Open Bulk Editor is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, lost profit, lost revenue, or lost data. Any aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws that apply to the seller and customer, without removing consumer protections that cannot be waived. Questions may be sent to info@openbulkeditor.com.
