End user license agreement
License terms for installing and using Open Bulk Editor Standard, including device activation, restrictions, updates, and termination.
Last updated: July 13, 2026
License grant
Subject to payment and these terms, Open Bulk Editor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Open Bulk Editor for your own business or internal professional work.
Device activation
The current license allows one active device. The first active device may be self-deactivated for one transfer. A later transfer or recovery may require support. Signed lease data may allow temporary offline writes, but the license must remain active.
Permitted use
You may use the software to manage Shopify stores you own or are authorized to manage. You are responsible for the Shopify permissions, employee authority, store plan, API limits, and the changes made with the software.
Restrictions
You may not share or sell a license key, bypass activation controls, remove ownership notices, use the software to gain unauthorized access, or redistribute the software except as applicable law expressly permits. You may not use the product to violate Shopify terms or another party's rights.
Updates and availability
Updates may change features, requirements, API support, or file formats. Pro roadmap features are not part of a Standard purchase unless a later written offer says otherwise. No release date is promised for Pro.
Ownership
Open Bulk Editor and its licensors retain all rights in the software, documentation, branding, and updates. This agreement licenses the software; it does not sell the intellectual property.
Your data and backups
The desktop app stores operational data locally and connects directly to Shopify. You are responsible for device security, Shopify exports, independent backups, and reviewing each preview. A task backup does not guarantee recovery from permanent deletion or every Shopify-side event.
Termination
This license ends if you materially breach the agreement or the license is refunded, revoked, or found fraudulent. When it ends, stop using the software and remove licensed copies. Provisions that should survive termination, including ownership and liability limits, remain effective.
Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the software is provided on an "as available" basis without warranties that cannot be supported. Liability is limited as described in the Terms of Sale. Nothing in this agreement excludes rights or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Governing law and contact
This agreement is governed by the laws that apply to the seller and customer, subject to non-waivable consumer rights. Questions may be sent to info@openbulkeditor.com.
